Olga Theuriet<\/a> et\u00a0J<\/a>essye Wdowin-McGregor<\/a> ont chacune en leur temps command\u00e9 le catalogue de Hessie<\/strong> \u00e9dit\u00e9 par ma galerie en 2015. C\u2019est comme cela que nous sommes entr\u00e9s en contact. De nombreuses collaborations ont suivi avec Olga Theuriet, me faisant d\u00e9couvrir l\u2019importance et l\u2019originalit\u00e9 de son travail en constante \u00e9volution, dans lequel le travail premier d’\u00e9criture donne corps \u00e0 un langage de formes qui lui est intimement li\u00e9.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Dans l\u2019exposition, Olga Theuriet pr\u00e9sente une grande \u0153uvre en hommage \u00e0 Hessie, con\u00e7ue et r\u00e9alis\u00e9e lors de de\u00a0sa r\u00e9sidence \u00e0 l\u2019Atelier Blanc de Villefranche-de-Rouergue du 15 avril au 31 mai 2024<\/a>, et expos\u00e9e au Moulin des arts de Saint-R\u00e9my du 22 juin au 29 septembre 2024.<\/span><\/p>\n

Par l’invitation qui lui a \u00e9t\u00e9 faite de \u00ab r\u00e9pondre \u00bb \u00e0 Hessie et plus particuli\u00e8rement au papier perfor\u00e9 de Hessie \u00ab Temps perdu \u00bb, Jessye Wdowin-McGregor \u00a0a r\u00e9alis\u00e9 r\u00e9cemment un ensemble de pi\u00e8ces brod\u00e9es qui s\u2019adressent \u00e0 Hessie comme une offrande \u00e0 son art et \u00e0 cette exposition.<\/span><\/p>\n

Olga Theuriet<\/a> and\u00a0Jessye Wdowin-McGregor<\/a> both ordered the Hessie<\/strong> catalogue published by my gallery in 2015. That’s how we got in touch.\u00a0 <\/span>Numerous collaborations followed with Olga Theuriet, making me discover the importance and originality of her constantly evolving work, in which the primary work of writing gives shape to a language of forms that is intimately related to it.\u00a0<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

In the exhibition, Olga Theuriet presents a large-scale work in homage to Hessie, conceived and produced during\u00a0her residency at the Atelier Blanc in Villefranche-de-Rouergue (Aveyron) from 15 April to 31 May 2024,<\/a>\u00a0and exhibited at the Moulin des arts in Saint-R\u00e9my from 22 June to 29 September 2024.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

Jessye Wdowin-McGregor was invited to \u201crespond\u201d to Hessie, and more specifically to the perforated paper by Hessie \u201cTemps perdu\u201d, and has recently produced a series of embroidered pieces addressed to Hessie as an offering to her art and to this exibition.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n
